Bio:
My name is Courtland J. Thomas born in Bossier City, Louisiana January 19th 1985 and I am a hip-hop music artist that goes by the name of Code LANE.(L.A.N.E. means Louisiana Artist National Entertainer.) I've been doing music since I was 13 years old. I was first signed and introduced on Bozz City Records Ceasy C album when I was 15 years old. Then that same year I recorded my first group (CAMOUFLAGE SOULJAS) album "In a world of fatigue" with 3 other members. When I heard our single "Get Your Knees Low" on the radio for the first time, I fell in love and wanted to do this for life no matter how long it takes, I just wanted to do music and be heard. Over the years we dropped 4 more albums(War On The Mic, Camo Down World, Camouflage Souljas Promo EP, We Clown Vol.2 and 3) and the other members dropped a few solo projects that are doing great to this day. After a 4 year sit down away from music, I finally had a chance to build my own studio and make songs the way I like to make and hear them. In July of 2021, I produced, recorded, mixed & master my own solo project titled "CRYPTIC LEGEND". This album consists of 6 singles and an introduction on the first track. This album is unique because all songs has its own moods and styles which starts off with a grime upbeat tempo but ends with a slow groove of the bass of a love song. This is what I love about doing music, its not just doing music, its creating a mood or feeling that you can hear with your mind. My passion is to continue to keep my listeners in a winning mood with the music I create.
